Senior Cyber Security Engineer

eSafe Cyber Security Ltd is seeking to recruit a Senior Cyber Security Engineer. As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to protect our customers’ systems and information by identifying and mitigating security risks, prioritizing actions, and proactively responding to emerging threats. You will participate in implementing security controls for our customers and you will participate in designing and architecting solutions. The day to day review of our customers’ security posture covers implementations in almost all business and infrastructure (both on prem and in cloud.).

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and tune Load Balancers, NextGen Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, EDR and IDS/IPS.
  • Administer, configure, and tune Web Filtering, Email Gateway, VPN and DLP solutions.
  • Administer, configure, and tune Servers and Endpoint Security (Windows/Linux).
  • Provide recommendations for solutions, products, and technologies to meet business objectives.
  • Provide support and maintains the day-to-day operations of customers’ security infrastructure, including the security controls related to Cloud environment and Office 365 tenants.
  • Active Directory policies and fine tuning like associated roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to deliver risk-based security improvements.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to deliver secure cloud solutions and workloads.
  • Maintain updated documentation of customers’ security infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking.
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Security Administrator or in a similar position, working with solutions and products in the field of IT and Cloud technologies.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience regarding Cybersecurity trends, threats, procedures, mitigation techniques, cybersecurity policy development and execution.
  • Good knowledge of networking (VLAN, switches) and protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the latest Cyber Security and Cloud technologies

The following will be considered an advantage:

  • Experience with F5, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Imperva, Cloudflare
  • Experience with Email Security Gateways
  • Hands-on experience with network and Email Security
  • Network Security certifications, such as Fortinet Network Security Certifications would be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience with OS Hardening (e.g. CIS Controls) and Vulnerability Assessments would be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and tools such as Azure CLI/Powershell, AKS, Azure Firewalls, NSG, Security Groups, Azure Firewall load balancers.

  • Experience and comfort in presenting and explaining cybersecurity topics to technical teams as well as senior level audience.
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-drive for continuous professional development.
